Expose Yourself

Authenticity is key. If you are not authentically demonstrating who you really are, how can someone possibly fall in love with the real you? If you try to conform to what you think they want, you will never be happy. Sooner or later, your true persona will come out and they will say to their friends, “She was amazing until we got married. She changed immediately and I didn’t recognize who she was.” You owe it to yourself and everyone you meet to be truthful about who you are and what you are looking for. It can only help the relationship as you move along. If someone isn’t pleasing you, communicate first and see if you can change things. Are they receptive to your input? If they aren’t in the beginning, you can be pretty sure they won’t ever be.
